Catholic Daughters Of America Winners 2019
The St. Mary’s students recently competed in the 2019 National Education Contest sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of America. Students had a variety of categories in which they could submit work including essays, poetry, art, computer art, music, and photography. Four St. Mary’s students were chosen to have their work go on to compete at the state level. In the essay category for Division 1 (4th-5th grades) is Piper Hoffman; and in the art category for Division I is Rachel Harder. In the essay category for Division 2 (grades 6-8) is Callie Hoffman; and in the art category for Division 2 is Xander Brown. All entries had to showcase the theme of “Here I am Lord, I Come to Do Your Will” or “ Doing My Best to Do Good.”
