The St. Mary’s Dinner and Auction will be held Sunday February 25th at the Osmond City Auditorium. Their will be silent auctions that will end at 12:30 p.m. and the live auction will start at approximately 12:30 p.m. Stay after you eat and bid! The net profit from this dinner and auction go towards St. Mary’s children’s programs, the school and family faith formation (prep). LaVail Aschoff and Carol Schmit are putting together the auction part of the day. Help them put together one of the best auctions we’ve had!
Here are some items they are looking for:
-money to purchase items to be auctioned
-items to go toward an auction basket theme of their choice
-an already made up basket, theme of your choice
-a large item, like a quilt or hand crafted item
-an event, like a concert weekend
-small business basket, get your name out while helping a good cause
-a gift card for a service, gas or food
-a use of your skills, a service offered, a free house cleaning, a load of gravel, use of your boat or camper for a day
-a grilled dinner this summer for a group, you cook and provide the food
-a quarter or half of beef or pork
-swimming pool passes, zoo tickets
Use your imagination! They are open to suggestions.
They have some baskets and events purchased. If you would like to sponsor one of those, contact one of them.

Discovering CHRIST is for anyone and everyone, from the baptized in the pews to the unbaptized person who has never entered a church, to enter into or renew a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, experience the love of God the Father, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live as God’s children. It also gives participants the relational support necessary to begin living for Christ within the parish.
